About This Book

This set of ten lessons teach about God’s holy days and the non-observance of Easter, Halloween, and Christmas.

Dear Intermediates,

Have you ever had a friend break a promise to you? Maybe one of your siblings told your parents something that you didn't want them to know. Or just maybe, someone turned you in to the principal, or even the police. How did you feel? Were you angry? Did you feel deserted, angry, alone, and Betrayed! Jesus, your best Friend certainly understands. Learn in lesson one how Jesus also experienced betrayal from one of His friends.

Sin is sometimes overlooked because it may seem small. Sin spreads and infects everything it touches like A Little Yeast leavening a loaf of bread.

Pentecost is a Harvest Blessing. In the spring people reaped the harvest they had planted earlier in the year. In the Bible, Pentecost is mentioned as one of three appointed feasts on which God commanded every man to come before Him with offerings.

Jesus' disciples clearly expected that there would be some prior indication that Jesus' return was imminent. Jesus talked about the destruction of the Temple. His disciples came to Him privately on the Mount of Olives and asked Him, "Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" (Mathew 24:3). They wanted to know The Signal. Then Jesus puts together a comprehensive list of events that will take place before He returns.

Have you ever wondered, "What's the Difference between Atonement and Passover?" Why does God give us rituals and ceremonies for two days that seem so similar? Both days symbolize Christ removing our sin, both days are somber and serious, and both are days that God commanded us to keep. So, What's the Difference?

Does God expect you to go to the Feast on a shoestring budget? Does He intend that you break the bank to go? Or does God intend that you have plenty of Money to Spend while you’re at the Feast? If so, how do you get it? No, He doesn't want you to rob a bank.

Have you known people who have died, maybe a baby, a grandparent, or a friend, who did not know God and had never been baptized? Have you wondered what will happen to them in the resurrection? Check out this fascinating lesson about Disconnected Bones and you'll see how God's merciful plan connects.

Have you ever thought that your religion really makes you look different? But what about the people who observe "Fat Tuesday,” whatever that means, put ashes on their forehead on Wednesday, give up something like popcorn for 40 days of Lent. This is all part of the Easter Connection. Do you Follow the Standard? If so, what will be your blessings? If not, what will be the consequences you receive?

While maybe wishing that your parents kept Christmas and you’d kind of like to as well, do you feel a little superior to those who do? Do you feel more righteous than them? But what about the works that you are doing? The poor and needy will always be with us. Are you taking as good a care of them as many people do who celebrate Christmas? What does you Bible say about this?

You have a lot of interesting lessons in this books that will fill in some necessary gaps in your understanding and make life better for you. So read your lesson and your daily devotions before class and be ready for the time of your lite.
