10 lessons · Primaries
This set of ten lessons begins with the creation of the world, works through Noah’s Flood, the Tower of Babel, and God calling Abram.
Dear Primaries,
The first day of school is always an exciting time. You see old friends. You meet new teachers. You have new clothes and you have new school supplies. I always looked forward to opening my new box of crayons and seeing all the colors.
This world that God created contains every color under the sun. He colored it with green grass and trees. All the beautifully colored flowers were made by His own hand. Even the brown, black and gray animals add excitement to God's creation. And
God topped it all off with a bright blue sky above. Yes, God was very busy when He began to Color My World.
But there were some dark days in the beginning of our world. There were gray, stormy days when God sent a great flood to destroy His creation. Noah built A Rescue Boat to save his family and the animals alive. And at the end of the flood, God painted a beautiful Rainbow of Promise in the sky. This rainbow held a promise that He would never again destroy the world with a flood.
As you read the lessons in this book, learn your memory verses and read your Daily Devotionals, you will see that God loves color. Look at the colors in your crayon box. Find something that God created that is red, yellow, orange, purple, and all the other colors. What a wonderful God we have. And what a beautiful, colorful world He created!
