10 lessons · Primaries
This set of ten lessons starts with Jesus' birth then moves into Jesus' ministry.
Dear Primaries,
“Up, up, up and away,” shouted the pilot as the men untied the ropes. Up and away went the big hot air balloon. It was rising high into the sky. But, where was it going? How was it able to fly without a motor? Who was guiding it? Where would it land?
Isn’t God wonderful? He is the One who made all things. He made the big blue sky. He made the winds that blow. God is the One who lifts the hot air balloon high into the sky. He guides it as it flies high above the earth. And He has a place prepared for it to land.
God wants to take you “Up, up, up and away.” As you read the lessons in your YEA book, He will guide you, too. Your memory verses will help you to rise high above your problems. And, reading your daily devotionals will give you power!
In this first YEA book you will meet the baby Jesus. You will watch Him grow as a child, and into a perfect man. He will teach you through His stories. He will guide you by His example. He wants you to know where you are going and how to get there!
This is just the beginning of a wonderful trip. Take time to read your lessons every week. They will help you be ready for Sabbath School class. Have fun with the activities. They have been prepared just for you! Pray that God will teach you how to follow His example. And, get ready to go, “Up, up, up and away” with YEA!
