Dear Juniors,
Welcome to God's vineyard! The seeds of wisdom and holiness will be planted in your heart as you study this book. They will need to be watered by the Word of God. Weeds of doubt and sin need to be pulled up and discarded. In the end, your life will produce fruit. You will be ripe for the picking!
Being Hand-Picked to be a servant of the Almighty God is an awesome privilege and responsibility! God takes great care in selecting those who are ripe for the opportunity. In this second book in the Creation Series, you will meet some of the "cream of the crop.”
You will be introduced to mysterious Melchezidek. He was chosen to be A Priest Forever. Who is he? What does he teach us about Jesus? Lesson one will help you understand the relationship between Jesus and Melchezidek.
God Hand-Picked Abraham to receive a special blessing and promise. You will see why his name was changed. You will meet his nephew, Lot, and witness the result of being disobedient. And, Sarah and Abraham finally experience God's fulfillment of His promise.
Have you ever heard of anyone named "Laughter?" Isaac received his name because his mother laughed when she heard she would have a son. When faced with a difficult decision, Isaac and Abraham Passed The Test!
Isaac and his bride Rebekah had twin boys - Jacob and Esau. But, Playing Favorites led to problems between the boys. Jacob was sent away from his home. God spoke to him in a strange dream and let him know he had been Hand- Picked to carry out God's plan. God blessed Jacob with Sons By The Dozen!
As you read through these exciting lessons, your seeds of wisdom and holiness will take root. As you read the daily devotionals and memorize your verses each week, you will grow. And, each activity will help your fruit to ripen. Your life will mature.
God wants to hand-pick you for His service. Jesus said, "I am the vine. You are the branches. If anyone remains joined to me, and I to him, he will bear a lot of fruit" (John 15:5 NIrV). Is your fruit ripe? Are you ready to be Hand-Picked by God?
