DISCIPLES - men who helped and followed Jesus
SINS - doing things that are bad
STRANGERS - people you don’t know
Many men went up to the mountain to find Jesus. These men were Jesus disciples. When they saw Jesus they worshiped Him. Jesus knew that He would soon go to heaven. He said, “I will always help you even after I go to heaven. All you have to do is pray and ask for my help.”
Jesus gave His disciples a job to do while He is gone. The job Jesus gave His disciples to do is to teach other people to obey His commandments. He wants everyone to not tell lies or to take something that belongs to another person. He wants everyone to obey his parents and to keep the Sabbath holy. He sent His Holy Spirit to make all of us strong and to help us do our job.
The disciples told everyone they met that Jesus loves them. Jesus wants everyone in the world to know how much He loves them. Even little boys and girls can tell others how much Jesus loves them.

Preschoolers need space and opportunity to exercise their large muscle groups. If they are asked to sit still for long periods of time, they will become restless, and often disruptive. This lesson has a lot of action for the children to participate in. Seat them on the floor in a semi-circle. Demonstrate the actions and allow the children to perform each activity as you tell the story. The action rhyme at the end of this lesson allows the children to stretch their bodies, and to call out in a loud voice. At the same time, you are teaching them to tell others about Jesus’ love.
1. What is the important thing that Jesus wants everyone to know?
2. What was the job that Jesus gave the disciples to do?
3. Can you think of some people that you can tell about Jesus?
4. What are some things that Jesus wants everyone to know?

Dear God, thank you loving me, and for sending Jesus to die for my sins. Help me to be like the disciples, and tell other people about your love. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
